im just a creative overall, when im not drawing im usually working on this site or doing crafts or something. im a big animanga fan and learning japanese (duh). i'm approximately at n4 level, having made most of my progress watching hanae natsuki freak out playing horror games (o゜▽゜)o

i'm also a huge fan of dansei seiyuu (male japanese voice actors) and i really appreciate voice acting as a form of art or something like that. i've recently started to familiarise myself with josei seiyuu, so maybe one day i can call myself the seiyuu nerd >:3

fave music genres are mainly japanese math rock, jpop, jmetal or something akin to it. im sorry idk the difference between metal and metalcore and hardcore and

idk what else 2 write about myself lol. if u want u can give my blog entries a read which might reveal more abt myself than i would think to write here. alot of my entries are about my art and school art project, especially with the perfectionism mindset i have around those. i like to say im trying to combat it through creating stuff on this site because it really isn't at all perfect and i understand that :d

i also feel like i overthink alot. especially with interactions i have with other people, so it makes it a little difficult for me to have a day going out and socialising without getting really awkward and inevitably having another scene to replay at night for the rest of my life.

i'll play the same five artists' discography 500 times until i feel like switching, then rinse and repeat. if i find a new song i like i'll usually go to the artist and give their whole profile a listen. this method has been pretty effective in allowing me to find my favourite artists so far ^o^

only very recently have i started considering that music is a big part of my life, despite literally listening to it every day for pretty much 90% of my life. i think this is mostly because i developed a deep hatred for playing the piano starting around grade 7-8, after which i quit ever practising. i finished grade 8 in november 2024 and never touched the piano after that. i've played some quick notes a few times outside home, but only to test my muscle memory and never to properly sit down and learn a new song. i just don't think performance arts are for me, despite the fact that i occasionally wish i could be in a band. (i could, as a keyboardist, but going back to something i have a grudge against after quitting it so recently just doesnt seem uhh.. right to me)

im very bad at communicating, especially online. nowadays my interactions are mostly face to face and i feel that it's better for me and my mental health overall. i used to text my friends alot online but longer conversations over text always made me feel like i could be using my time better. obvs no offense to my friends but i find that i much prefer face to face conversations anyway :-)

in a similar vein, i cannot stay active in an online community for very long. again i used to be able to do this, but this was during the pandemic where i was able to sit at a computer basically 24/7. i feel that the indie web is different in that i'm obviously actively maintaining my website and interacting with anyone that stops by (which might be u! why dont u say hello in the guestbook ;3) and also dropping my own messages into others' guestbooks as well. my site is a very comforting place for me to be in, while still allowing me to have a little bit of interaction online. its kinda like my own blanket fort on the web :3c

since young i've had interests in science, especially outer space, and recently have developed an appreciation for math as well. my favourite area of math is trigonometry and geometry and i'm very fascinated by the concept of higher dimensions. i like to do integration questions and i think they're the most fun. second would be mechanics maybe

i hate statistics. dont come anywhere near me with that poopoo it is my Number One Enemy. i will rant about how much i hate hypothesis testing and the stupid large data set. ohhh my god the stupid large data set. dont even get me started on the stupid large data set

i'm not an all out science or math nerd but i like watching science and math videos. my favourite channels include the rest is science and stand up maths. special mention to hypercubist math, they've got great videos on visualising 4d on there :-)
