writing this as i battle the spontaneous urge to change everything about my website again. i really need to get my head straight
this is not new to me; ive impulsively changed site names and site layouts multiple times since i started this site in june of 2025. but i just thought i could write about it for once so i can lay all of this out clearly and see whether i still want to go ahead with the change.
one of my concerns is that it'd be a big headache for everyone who've linked my site, and i really don't want to contribute to breaking links on people's sites. i could sign up for neko tier to have the option to create multiple sites, which is something i've been considering for a while, but i'm also not a fan of the thought of having sites with duplicate content.
i could also just get a domain name that is different from my nekoweb site name, but im not too willing to spend on domain names yet until i've found a site name that sticks .. which as you can see is still a work in progress quest.
i also want to preserve this site and its content without having to move things around, and i've done that for my previous layouts by exporting them in zip files, but in the end nobody, not even me, will see or even be able to interact with it unless i set up another site.
the things i'm really interested in naturally changes over time except i feel like my appearance and how i present myself also changes with it. and since i consider my site to be part of my self expression, it's bound to change too.
and because i'm so relatively new to webcrafting, i feel like i haven't really found my "website style" yet. i'm jumping between loud and crazy, clean and simple, stylish and cool. i still don't know what my site really wants to be, but i guess that is the fluid nature of creativity.
i'll think about it more, but one thing's for sure is that i'm going to make a new layout soon. i really hope i can somehow keep bonyou while still having another site. as much as i love it i really want to try new things !!
