ears ringing throat sore and so ready for the summer holiday

what a way to end the academic year. cheers to anyone who made it, or if your school year ends in december, keep going!! u can do it
nobody point out how im fighting sleep to write this entry but i have to get it out while its still fresh in my memory. this is gonna be shitty recounts but it'll be enough
to start off the second and final day of my school's arts festival my group officially opened our henna painting stall ^o^/ henna is basically a dye made from some plant and its used in body art! like mine which i did for myself ( ` ꒳ ´ )✧
its definitely way less saturated now that ive washed it a few times but thats just how it is lol. it stays on for at most a week so its great if u dont like the permanence of tattoos but think they look cool. the dye is also super cheap too
anyways i think our stall was pretty popular, i was basically working non stop for like an hour and a half for my shift. it was really fun tho shoutout 2 that guy who asked for elysia's signet i was too scared to bring up their good taste and also i didnt want to risk messing up while having a convo but thats just my excuse for being introverted
there were also song & dance performances plus a house drama competition which were really interesting to watch and i have nothing more to say about it. it was cool
u can tell im skipping past all that to talk abt the bbq in the field and sitting on beanbags on the grass in the evening.just pure vibes. the bbq was so good paired with pasta and watermelon and a lot of flies
after all that came the Real Shit: student bands playing totally cool songs and ahh i wish i could be in a band too but i digress
it was alot of fun especially when some of the bands played jpop songs even though i didnt know the lyrics to them.. makes me wanna learn more lyrics to songs hmm
and finally... the finale after sunset with the class of 2026's and staff bands!! they got everyone so hyped and singing along to iconic pop songs, it's just a crowd of students jumping and cheering to songs and this might sound cheesy but this was such a wholesome moment of everyone just doing the same thing together. i was yelling the lyrics to every song i knew of and basically using my vocal chords like they've never been used before. at some point the cheering and music combined was so loud our ears just started ringing and mind you i was standing in the very front almost next to the gigantic speakers. im surprised i can still hear anything. sorry ears especially my left one
as the staff band was finishing off their last performance we heard a large boom and turned around to see a sick fireworks display. it was so cinematic the way the fireworks and music combined
im by no means capturing the moment perfectly but i just wanna say im so fucking glad i get to have these experiences and that i can experience it with my sibling & friends. im so tired after everything today but tomorrow we have just one more assembly for the class of 2026 graduation and then im done. i get to go home for the summer, and while i won't be completely free from assignments and projects i hope i can do awesome things during then. this is kro signing out for tonite, i really need to get some sleep lol. and to anyone reading this keep doing what u do best u rockstars x
also 28/06 edit i forgot to mention there were lots of people wearing the shirt i designed for the festival!!! i was so happy !!!!!!
