with the help from melonland forum, i finally managed to get the link to iframes script working, complete with bookmarks linking too! now i don't have to separate my entries into pages, but i'll still have to give ids to every entry.. that's for another time.
i still have the issue with cache in pages within an iframe, and with some quick google searches it seems i need to either get the browser to not cache the site at all, or use some complicated script.... both of which im not too keen on doing. it's unfortunate, because even if you hard reload the main page, the iframes don't update with changes.
in the end i don't think it's too big of a deal, because i guess you could wait until the cache expires.. but also not really. especially with my posts like these, where i have new entries almost every day, it's a real hassle to clear cache every time.
hopefully i'll be able to find a solution, but for now i'll just stick with what i have. i do fine that opening a private window/incognito mode is useful for quick-testing changes, especially on mobile, where it's harder to clear cache. maybe i should start browsing sites in private browsing mode? ( ≧ᗜ≦)
