just for the sake of it

it's been a hot minute since i made an entry and i missed doing it and also im kinda feeling stuck in general rn so here's this entry (just for the sake of making one)! i will just ramble abt whatever comes to mind and go with the flow. maybe kinda like a journal but i can't seem to commit to one ever. i've seen people decorate their journals with cute stickers and stuff and while it looks fun to do, if i cant even be consistent with writing every day how can i possibly take the time out of my day to find stickers to go with it ...

anyways, lately i've been really obsessed with the jrap group oops cool! i've spotlighted them in august's music recommendations but i thought itd be cool to talk more abt my interests on the site, so let me do just that :3

i really like the concept of oops cool, the 4 members basically wear a crochet-type mask that fully covers their head along with cool sunglasses. each member has a different "character", those being a bear, rabbit, sheep and demon(??), and this is reflected in their logo which i think is soso (oops) cool. hiding their faces also means it gives them so much room to act out a scene using exaggerated movements in their music videos and im all in for it. its so funny

in addition i also really enjoy the range of voices they have!! i think wantai's in particular (the bear, but if i get the member's names wrong thats totally on me. it took me a while to figure out whose voice belonged to who, let alone names) is really interesting because he's got a tenor/bass range and it gives their songs so much more texture

i think my favourite music video so far is 失態アモーレ(shittai amore, roughly translates to failed love i think) just because of the acting in it. if there's a word like "catchy" but for dancing specifically that's what i'd call this. everytime this song gets stuck in my head i have to wrestle myself so i dont start dancing in public.

dont ask me for my favourite song I CANT CHOOSE they're all so good;; but if i had to recommend someone to start maybe seishun gameover. tbf i did put it on my site when i first started featuring songs, and also its the song i was first introduced to. but if i REALLY had to choose one it'd be a tough battle between downtownlove and shittai amore. ok no more asking

yay that concludes my oops cool um. section something something soz im not good with words i genuinely have not had an english class for almost a year now. maybe even more. i really miss writing creative pieces but i just can't find the time nor motivation to start one because it requires so much planning. not so much but it's not like a blog where i can just sit down and write whatever stupid stuff i want

speaking of, i've recently started a new comic(??) project.. it's secret.. no telling.. jk it's about 4th dimensions and stuff but i felt like i put more on my plate with this premise than i can chew. i've resolved to making it a one-shot just so i don't take forever with it. i'd been doing planning somewhat consistently for it for awhile but naturally i ran out of ideas and motivation .. so i stopped and moved on to something else. will i ever be able to focus on one thing till i'm done with it (no)

i won't say the premise is all that special or whatever but i'm definitely not going to spill it until i get some semblance of a plotline ready. which is. extremely difficult gahh. just hoping i'll be able to get this done by next mid-year. my current dream lets hope i can fulfil it .............. (lets be real)

OKAY i was thinking abt dates so now i wanna talk abt a rlly important one (for me) coming up... *drumroll*** .. my birthday!! yay!!

im HOPEFULLY gonna be able to make a birthday blog bcos i didnt last yr because i was lazy. but this year im thinking of getting a tamagotchi.. not cuz i keep seeing everyone have one but also because i keep seeing everyone have one. but not in a peer pressure way. ok stop lying

in all seriousness i couldnt really think of anything else i wanted. a digicam would be nice but i already have a normal basic compact camera that works and i dont like having two of something that basically does the same thing, 1. because i already have one of it and 2. if i had multiple i wouldn't know which one to use when

but um. the other problem is which generation to get. im prolly going to go with whatever i can find in the mall because i dont think i care too much abt what types of tamas i get?? if anything i just want a cool design LMAO

um yea! following my birthday im planning on making some more announcements.. that makes it sound important oops. its not that important. mostly just for me

it seems crazy that its my birthday soon i swear how did we get here so fast. is it a sign of age oh no. by the time i'm like 90 i'll be experiencing time at the speed of light.. which might not be that bad. my one wish is to travel at lightspeed. nyeowww
