today i got my second pair of ear piercings :-) my first pair was from a year ago, and i'd been thinking about getting a second pair for a few months. i'd always wanted to wear small double hoops on each ear, and in about half a year from now i'll be able to change out my starter ones for those.. yay 4 waiting
i'm not going to go into detail, but my aftercare routine for my first piercings was basically non existent. it's no wonder it took forever to heal, and even then i'm still lucky it didn't spiral into something worse. my piercer wasn't the most helpful, but where i live we don't have lots of reputable piercers, and this was literally the best we got :p
i still went to the same shop (different piercer) to get mine this time, but they still didn't brief me on any aftercare routine, so i was left with scouring the piercings internet for advice. hopefully they'll heal faster this time, but seeing as i'm going to roll over my piercings in my sleep a hundred times a night for the next few months.. sorry piercings.
