on tuesday i had my "origami & music" club!! i thought we were gonna make interesting connections to origami & music that i didn't know about but turns out its just origami club while the teacher plays popular 2017 gacha life music video songs lol. i guess i was overcomplicating the concept of "origami and music", but to be fair i've learnt some time ago that origami involves math, so u gotta understand where im coming from lol
when i realised it was just gonna be origami club i was a little disappointed i'll admit, because the concept didnt sound too exciting .. but thankfully we were left to our own devices (literally, we were allowed to take out our laptops/tablets to look up tutorials) and could fold whatever we wanted :-)
as a kid i did lots of origami, so it's sort of this sentimental/nostalgic thing for me ... but anyways. i could never do the super complicated folds, so i'm really happy that i'm able to attempt one this time round!!
i picked a cat bcos i thought itd be cool. his name is wakachan jr

i kept on working on him every chance i got.. was literally obsessed lol. turned out to be way more fun than i thought, i'm so glad i got added to this club!! it's sparked my love for origami again and i'm excited for next week's session
some folds were a little confusing from the way the camera in the video was angled, but i just winged it and i think he looks ok lol. i should definitely add an origami section to my collections page, stay tuned 4 when i get the chance to work on that ..
let me officially introduce yall 2 him, say hello 2 my son wakachan jr. long story short it's an inside joke between me and my sibling that i'm "waka-chan" and they r "daiousama" (u get cookies if u get the reference), so naturally my beautiful kitty will be wakachan jr. please pet him he likes pets
